Place spaghetti sauce in a blender or food processor and add ricotta or cottage cheese, cream cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic then blend until smooth. Place all ingredients on high until hot, 1 to 1½ hours. Add mozzarella cheese just prior to serving & stir until melted. Turn to warm setting (or low if yours don't have a warm setting) and serve with crackers, breadsticks or tortilla chips. *NOTE* If you only have soft bread, heat in oven until toasted as soft bread will fall apart because this is a thick dip. 39. Crock Pot Hamburger Patties -Stephanie King

ground chuck
1 package of beefy onion dry soup mix
2 tsp of worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp of A1 sauce Mix all the ingredients together then pat them out.

Make sure not to overmix the meat. If you do it may be dry and/or tough when done. Take a long piece of aluminum foil (I use an eighteen inch piece) & fold it into a long skinny piece. Repeat this two more times. Take the straight, skinny pieces & curl them around to look like an electric stove eye. Line the bottom of your crock pot with the aluminum foil curls. To make sure that the burgers on the bottom won't be submerged in the excess fat I line the bottom with canning lid rims. Lay enough burger patties to make one layer, having them not touching at all. Then take another piece of foil & fold it up to make another long skinny piece. Manipulate this piece the same way you did the others. Gently lay it on top of the first layer of patties. Now you're going to lay the the remaining patties on top of that layer of foil. Fold a couple of paper towels & lay on top of the crock pot. Use the lid to secure the paper towels so they can properly catch all the water/condensation from the lid.
Turn the crock pot to high & cook for 3-4 hours. Mine are done at exactly 3½ hrs.

40. Crock Pot Green Beans- Stephanie King

3 or 4 cans of Whole Green Beans

few small red potatoes

1/4 onion (chopped)

salt & pepper to taste

2 beef boullion cubes

Few shakes of Cavender's seasoning

1/2 tsp sugar
1 cup water (Watch your beans!! If youre gonna be away from home all day, add more water. If you use too much water, your beans wont be tasty. If you use too little water, your green beans may scorch & not taste good. You do need to experiment one day when youre gonna be home. All crockpots are different-as are all cooks. Use as little water as possible to retain flavors.)

Pour juice off beans then put in pot with all ingredients except red potatoes. Cook 3 to 4 hrs on low heat. Add peeled small red potatoes then cook an hour more. Yum!!

Ingredients
3 cups quick-cooking grits
2- 32 ounces chicken broth,

2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules ( Wyler's)

16 ounces mild sausage ( 1 roll)
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper ( to taste)

Directions
@ 10 pm - Brown the sausage and add the Cayenne Pepper to taste. I told like mine too spicy, so I sprinkle once around the pan. After sausage is browned, drain fat and put the sausage in frig until the morning. In the meantime, pour the two boxes of broth and 2 cups of water into crockpot (I always use a crockpot liner), immediately followed by two tsp of Wyler's Chicken Boullion granuales. Stir. Then add the 3 cups of grits. Stir again. Cover and cook on low overnight. @6 am, stir the grits -- it will be thick at this point and some will stick to bottom of crockpot. Stir to break up any lumps, add sausage and cheese, stir again. Keep on low until you leave the house. It takes me 30 mins to get to work, but they are still pipping hot when I get there.
